Ms. Gayle Carpenter Assistant Principal Li - Z
Ms. Carpenter came to Dale Junior High November 2006 from Vista, CA. She has previously taught high school Biology and Physics, and coordinated a district-wide elementary science program. Additionally she was the IBMYP, IB Diploma, and AP Program Coordinator, and the Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Guajome Park Academy in Vista. She also served as the Principal for the school’s Alternative Ed program, after writing a $150,000 grant to establish a project-based curriculum.
Ms. Carpenter graduated from Mary Washington College with a Bachelor’s in Biology, and received her MA Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Central Michigan University. She is currently working on her Ed.D in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy at Pepperdine University. Ms. Carpenter has 4 kids, and enjoys running and outdoor activities.
